After a long hiatus, the old KickassTorrent website has returned under a new URL: KATcr.co. Rebuilt from the ground up by the original developers, the site is indistinguishable from KAT.cr. A new user database and other security features have been included in the updated website design. There are some difficulties loading the website due to a heavy server load.
Many fake proxies sprung up after the closure of KickassTorrents, the largest torrent website in the world. As a result, the profile of competing torrent sites grew as well. Katcr.co was first introduced to you in July. The community page was developed through a joint effort of the staff and users of the original KickassTorrents site. Back then, we didn’t have any torrent links to share. An expanded team from KickassTorrent has launched rival torrent site KATcr.co.
The fully functional torrent site looks like Kat.cr, which is no longer online. Most of the original KAT site administrators and personnel have reportedly joined the new project, as reported by the KATcr team to TF. He elaborated that this proved “our mutual dedication, devotion, and real affection for KAT.”
When the company relaunched it, it completely wiped the user database clean. KickassTorrents has welcomed back several high-profile uploaders whom the piracy community relies on. KickassTorrent will likely add more content to the website soon. The KATcr team claims that the facility was rebuilt, with only the essential safety features kept.
The workers are confident that the website’s founding members will be freed shortly and ultimately win the pending court struggle. KATcr.co currently has a sluggish loading time, most likely due to many users trying to access the site simultaneously. Furthermore, it’s possible that some of you won’t be able to load it at all.
