You should perform System Restore before attempting any of the following solutions.

Method 1: Try Windows Key + Space Shortcut

It’s worth a shot to see if tapping the Windows key and the space bar simultaneously fixes the problem before you lose your mind.

Use the Fn key to check if you’ve accidentally locked your keyboard using a shortcut.

Method 2: Make sure to Turn off Filter Keys

    1. You can access Control Panel by pressing Windows Key + X.
    2. Select “Change how your keyboard functions” after choosing Ease of Access.
    3. Make certain that Filter Keys are not enabled.
    4. Deactivate it if it’s already selected. Then apply and click OK.

Method 3: Update your Keyboard drivers

    1. Type “devmgmt.msc” into the Windows Key + R, then press Enter to access the Device Manager.
    2. Then open Keyboard and choose “Update Driver Software” from the context menu of Standard PS/2 Keyboard.
    3. Complete the driver upgrade by selecting the “Search automatically for updated driver software” option.
    4. If the preceding alternatives don’t work, choose the second option, “Browse my computer for driver software.”
    5. Select “Allow me to pick from my PC’s installed device drivers.”
    6. After you’ve made your selection from the provided drop-down menu, click Next.
    7. Restart your computer when you’ve finished installing the drivers.
