Corrupt System Files: There are currently no power options available problem happens more commonly when one or more system files are faulty. Customers have reported success with SFC/DISM scans and system restores in solving this issue.

Different reasons: This error message may appear on Windows 10 if the Registry is corrupted or a third-party application malfunctions.

To address the following problems, try these troubleshooting steps: Windows 10 PCs do not have any power management features accessible now.

Method 1: Fix there are currently no power options available by Using Registry Editor to Disable NoClose Key

You must disable NoClose on your computer to fix the problem of currently no power options available. To be certain, perform the following steps:

    2. Right-click on regedit and select OK.
    3. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
      • Go to HKEY _LOCAL_MACHINE.
      • Click on SOFTWARE.
      • Select Microsoft.
      • Now, click on Windows.

      • Here, select Policies.
      • Finally, choose Explorer.

Method 2: Fix there are currently no power options available by Using Local Security Policy Tool to Resolve Username Conflict

The notice will appear if the username includes any inconsistencies. It looks like there are currently no power options available at this time. You can solve this problem by using the Local Security policy tool. You can also use altering the rules for assigning user rights to achieve this goal. As a result, any conflicts that may have arisen about your username will be resolved.

There is no difference in the procedure for Windows 10 and 8.

    1. You can access the Run dialogue box by following the steps outlined in the preceding section.
    2. Click OK after entering secpol.msc in the text field as it appears on the screen.
    3. It will launch the local Pool Security Policy Editor.
    4. You should open up the Local Policies > User Rights Assignment area.
    5. Create a token object by double-clicking on it.
    6. Right-click the Shutdown button after you’ve scrolled down. Click on Properties.
    7. The system properties window will open after you close the application. Once you’ve selected Backup Operators, you’ll have the option of adding an individual or group.
    8. You can minimise the Select Users or Groups pane until you have enough information.
    9. Reopen the Run dialogue box and start it up again. Press Control and Enter to begin.
    10. Go to the Control Panel’s User Accounts section. From the left-hand menu, select Advanced user profile properties.
    11. Now is the time to copy the username.
    12. Step 7: Shrink the window to its original size. Add your username in the User Profiles section, as seen in this image.
    13. Afterwards, click OK.
    14. To save your changes, press the Apply button.
    15. After completing the above steps, log out of your account.

Check to see if you can fix this. There are currently no readily available electricity sources. If that doesn’t work, move on to the next step.

Method 3: Run Windows Power Troubleshooter

You can resolve any issues with Windows Power settings by running the Windows Power Troubleshooter. Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 can do this.

    1. Open the Run box in the same way you used to do so. Enter ms-settings:troubleshoot in the search bar on Windows 10 devices. After that, simply click OK to confirm your action.
    2. On Windows 7/8/8.1 systems, type control.exe/name Microsoft.
    3. You’ll be sent straight to the Troubleshoot Settings page when clicking on this link. As previously said, select the ‘Additional troubleshooters’ link.
    4. The next step is to pick Power from the Find and fix other issues section.
    5. Click During the troubleshooter; it will launch the Power troubleshooter.
    6. It will test your computer.
    7. If an issue is found, it will be automatically fixed. Use the on-screen instructions if you’re given them after clicking Apply this patch.
    8. Once it applies all the fixes, restart the system.

Method 4: Use Command Prompt to Restore Power Options

It solved this problem for certain customers who used the Command Prompt to run a command. Try it out for yourself by following these instructions:

    1. Use the Windows search box to type cmd, as seen here. Open the Command Prompt by clicking on the Open button.
    2. Powercfg –restoredefaultschemes should be entered. Then, press the Enter key to complete the transaction.
    3. Restart your computer to see if the problem has been resolved.
    4. If not, then relaunch CMD and type secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose
    5. You can complete the order by pressing Enter.
    6. Restart the computer several times.

Hopefully, this can help. There aren’t any power alternatives right now. It’s possible that the scans outlined in this technique won’t work for you.

    Method 5: Run SFC/DISM Scans

Deployment image servicing and management (DISM) and System File Checker (SFC) commands assist in the removal of corrupt system files. Local backups of corrupt data are replaced by the Windows Update component of DISM, which obtains clean files. SFC and DISM scans require the following steps:

    1. As previously stated, open the command prompt.
    2. Click Run as administrator to run it with administrative credentials if necessary.
    3. To perform a System File Checker (SFC) system scan, type sfc /scannow. Prepare to put your plan into action now.
    4. Restart the computer after waiting for the SFC scan to finish.
    5. As an alternative, try the DISM scan outlined below if the Windows 10 problem there are currently no power options available persists.
    6. Reopen the Command Prompt and type dism /online / cleanup-image /restorehealth as shown in the window. Press the Enter key to continue.
    7. Restart your computer after the DISM scan is complete to see if the problem has been fixed.

When using System Restore, you don’t have to worry about altering your files, photos, or other data. Even so, recently installed, it may delete software and drivers.

    1. Type “restore” into the search bar while holding the Windows key.
    2. Open As shown, you may use the search results to create a restore point.
    3. From the left-hand menu, select System Properties.
    4. On the System Protection tab, select the System Restore option.
    5. To proceed, click Next.
    6. If Automatic Restore Point has been selected, click Next and select your restore point.
    7. Confirm the restore point to begin the system restore and click Finish.
    8. You’ll be able to use Power options without problems after fixing any computer issues.
